Welcome to our 2024 Impact Report
We are delighted to share the highlights of another transformative year for ProVeg International. In 2024, we expanded our global reach with the launch of offices in Brazil and Portugal, strengthening our presence to 14 countries across five continents. These new additions are pivotal as we drive food-system transformation in regions with unique challenges and opportunities, from the Amazon to the European Union.
This year also saw ProVeg engaging on the world stage at key events, including COP29 in Azerbaijan, where we continued to champion plant-based solutions as critical tools for tackling the climate crisis. Our work with global partners, policymakers, and grassroots organisations has reinforced our efforts in building a more sustainable and equitable food future.
From fostering innovation through our ProVeg Incubator and Food Innovation Challenge to supporting changemakers via our Grants and Kickstarting for Good programmes, 2024 has been a year of bold action and meaningful progress.
As we look ahead to 2025, your support remains integral to our mission. Together, we can continue to reduce reliance on animal-based products, inspire millions to embrace plant-based diets, and transform the global food system for the better.

Dear ProVeg Supporters,
As 2024 comes to a close, it’s time once more to reflect on the past year and prepare for the new challenges and opportunities to come. Looking back over the past 12 months, I couldn’t be prouder of our global team and what we’ve achieved. I am continually inspired by the shared vision across our network – reflecting a global desire to transform the food system from top to bottom.
With this global perspective in mind, ProVeg celebrated its seventh birthday by expanding into two key countries – Portugal and Brazil – bringing our presence to 14 countries across five continents. Brazil, of course, is particularly important, given its role as one of the world’s main food producers and the fact that it is home to more than half of the Amazon rainforest.
Globally, we engage with food-service providers, retailers, and other companies to drive change directly. Our collaborations extend to thought-leadership, policy, and global advocacy efforts, including UN engagement, in order to help ensure a level playing field in which the plant-based and alternative-protein sectors can thrive.
As we move into 2025, I am optimistic about our talented team, our many partnerships – including new funders and supporters who share our vision for food-systems change – and the opportunities to build on our current momentum.
