Young people to speak on food system change at UN conference today

Members of the media are invited to join our press conference at the UN Bonn Climate Change Conference today (June 5) exploring global youth perspectives on food system transformation. The conference starts at 4pm CEST and journalists can watch online by accessing the webcast here or join in-person,Ā  if you are in Bonn, by making your way to Nairobi Room 4 on the UNFCCC campus.Ā 

The press conference is led by young people representing global food awareness organization, ProVeg International, and YOUNGO, the official children and youth constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

The Bonn intersessional sessions (SB58) take place from June 5 to June 15 and the aim is to prepare delegates for COP28, the UN climate summit, which takes place in Dubai in December 2023.Ā
