We’ve teamed up with Meatless Farm to encourage UK schools to get creative and make their menus more planet-friendly!
Our Green School Menu League is a nationwide competition challenging schools to make their menus more eco-friendly. We’ll share helpful guidance and delicious recipes to help along the way, and we have some amazing prizes up for grabs!
By adopting meatless menus and raising awareness of the benefits of plant-based food, we can make school food environmentally friendly without compromising on taste and nutrition. To enter our league, your school just needs to share their current menu, and show us how they’re encouraging uptake of plant-based meals.
There are some incredible prizes up for grabs for the winning school, including:
- £2,500 towards their school’s sustainable eating programme
- £2,500 worth of Meatless Farm products of their choice
- A live, in-school cooking masterclass from Omari McQueen – the UK’s youngest vegan chef, author of two vegan cookbooks and star of the CBBC ‘What’s cooking Omari?’
- A unique plant-based cooking workshop from ProVeg UK for school caterers.
AND 10 runners-up will get a case of Meatless Farm Burgers, Sausages, Meatballs and Mince to help make their menu even greener!
Does your school have what it takes to join the Green School Menu League?
Entries close 25th March. Winner will be announced mid April.
