Chocolate chip matcha muffins

Chocolate chip matcha muffins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup
    All-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp
    Baking powder
  • 1 pinch
    Salt
  • 2 tbsp
    Matcha powder
  • 1/2 cup
    Maple syrup (or liquid sweetener of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup
    Melted vegan butter
  • 1 "egg"
    from egg replacer (or a flax egg)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line or grease a muffin tray

  2. Combine all the dry ingredients in a bowl.

  3. Add the wet ingredients and stir with a wooden spoon until combined then fold in the chocolate chips.

  4. Spoon into your muffin moulds, then bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

  5. Once baked, allow to cool and then transfer to a cooling rack and dust with some icing sugar.
