"Shrimp" Fritter

  • 1 cup
    flour
  • 1 handful
    kuchai leaves rough chopped
  • 2 nos
    shallots sliced
  • ½ tsp
    salt
  • ½ tsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    vegetarian dried shrimp
  • tsp
    turmeric powder
  • ½ tsp
    yeast
  • water as needed

Paste

  • 2 tbsp
    sambal paste
  • ½ tsp
    curry powder
  • 2 tbsp
    vegetarian oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp
    chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp
    tomato sauce
  • 2 tbsp
    light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp
    dark soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp
    groundnuts roast and powdered
  • 1 tbsp
    dhall roast and powdered

Mee Goreng Mamak

  • 14 tbsp
    cooking oil
  • 2 cloves
    garlic chopped
  • 3 nos
    bird eye chili crushed
  • 2 nos
    shallots sliced
  • 1 nos
    green chili sliced
  • 1 nos
    tomato cubes
  • 1 nos
    boiled potato cubes
  • 2 pcs
    tofu 1 crumble, fried and cubed
  • 5 pcs
    fried tofu puff cut half
  • ½ cup
    water
  • 400 g
    yellow noodle
  • 1 stalk
    mustard leaves rough chopped
  • 1 handful
    beansprouts

Garnish

  • coriander leaves chopped
  • 4 slice
    cucumber sliced
  • 4 slice
    tomato sliced
  • 2 tbsp
    fried shallots
  • 2 nos
    calamansi cut the top part

Instructions

"Shrimp" Fritter

  1. Mix all the ingredients with the necessary amount of water until you achieve a thick pancake batter-like consistency.

  2. Allow it to rest for 20 minutes.

  3. Please remember to deep fry them.

Paste

  1. Mix all the ingredients with a cup of water and simmer in a pan until it thickens to a paste-like consistency.

Mee Goreng Mamak

  1. Sauté garlic, chilies, and shallots with mee goreng mamak paste.

  2. Add tomatoes, boiled potatoes, fried tofu, scrambled tofu, and taupok to the pan and stir. Then, add water, adjust seasoning, and let it simmer for a few minutes.

  3. Add the noodles, stir well, then add mustard leaves and beansprouts before serving.

  4. Garnish with coriander leaves, red chilies, fried shallots, calamansi, sliced tomato, and cucumber. Ready to serve.
