Tempeh Beetroot Burger Patties

Ingredients

Servings: 8
  • 200 gm
    organic or homemade tempeh
  • 0.5 tsp
    coriander powder
  • 0.5 tsp
    cumin seeds ground
  • 0.5 tsp
    fennel seeds ground
  • 0.5 tsp
    salt
  • 2 cloves
    of garlic minced
  • 0.5 inch
    ginger minced
  • 0.5 pc
    lemon juiced
  • 1 pc
    zest of lemon
  • 2 pcs
    dates pitted
  • 1 pc
    beetroot grated
  • 2 tbs
    flaxseed ground

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients (except beetroot and flaxmeal) into food processor and process till fairly combined.
  2. Transfer to mixing bowl and mix in beetroot and flaxmeal till combined.
  3. Form into burger patties.
  4. Place on a non-stick dehydrator tray and dehydrate at 45 Celsius for 6 hours. Flip halfway through dehydration.

  5. Serve with microgreens, mango, hemp hearts, sauerkraut, carrots, coconut bacon and chilli slices.
