Bami & Fried Tofu Wok
An easy and classic Indonesian cuisine. Make sure the Mien noodles don’t contain eggs (check the ingredients list).

300 gMien noodles

2 tbspoil

1onion
-
2 clovesgarlic

180 gfried tofu

1 tspsambal oelek

1 tspcumin
-
1 tspcoriander
-
600 gwok vegetable mix frozen

2 tbspsweet soya sauce (ketjap manis)

fresh coriander (optional)
Instructions

Prepare the Mien noodles according to the instructions on the packaging

While that is cooking, finely dice the onions

Heat up a tbsp of oil in a wok pan and fry the diced onions for about 5 minutes. Press the garlic over onions and fry for another minute.

Add the fried tofu to the pan and fry these for about 10 minutes until they are a bit crunchy.

Heat up another tablespoon of oil in the wok pan. Add the wok vegetable mix, sambal, cumin and coriander and cook them for about 10 minutes.

Add the mien noodles and sweet soya (ketjap) to the wok and stir-fry everything for another couple minutes

Done! Garnish with coriander.
Notes
Tip#1:Â Add baked onions and/or seroendeng for a burst of flavour!
Tip#2:Â You can also add vegan satay sauce for some extra savoury (or spicy) goodness!
