Noodles with plant-based chicken pieces

Ingredients

  • 200 grams
    plant-based chicken pieces e.g. Vivera Plant Chicken Pieces
  • 1
    pak choi
  • 1
    red onion
  • 1 clove
    garlic
  • 125 g
    rice vermicelli
  • 75 g
    carrot julienned
  • 2 tablespoons
    hoisin sauce
  • sunflower oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Cut the pak choi into strips and the red onion into half rings. Finely chop the garlic.
  2. Prepare the rice vermicelli according to the packet instructions.
  3. Heat two tablespoons of sunflower oil in a wok. Fry the onion and garlic for one minute and add the plant-based chicken pieces. Fry for five minutes until golden brown.
  4. First add the thicker stems of the pak choi and stir for a minute. Then add the leaves, along with the Hoisin sauce. Mix everything well.
  5. Spoon the vermicelli into bowls and top with the julienned carrot. Spoon the plant-based chicken pieces and the pak choi onto the noodles.

Notes

Tip: delicious with roughly chopped cashew nuts.
