Vegan fish fingers

Vegan fish fingers are quick and easy to prepare at home. This finger food is made with breaded tofu. Thanks to nori algae, soya sauce, and lemon juice, the vegan fish fingers have an exquisite flavour.

400 gtofu non-flavoured

1 sheetnori optionally slightly more, to taste

5 tbspsoya sauce dark

3 tbsplemon juice
-
250 mlwater hot
-
100 mlsoya milk

100 gbreadcrumbs

50 gwheat flour
-
2 tbspnutritional yeast flakes

3 tbspmargarine plant-based

a pinchpepper
-
a pinchsalt
Instructions

Cut the tofu into sticks. Then cut the nori sheet into thin strips. Mix in a bowl with soya sauce, lemon juice, and the water. Add the tofu sticks and leave to marinate for 2 hours, turning them over from time to time.

Prepare three small bowls. Add soya milk to the first. In the second, mix the flour, yeast flakes, salt, and pepper. Put the breadcrumbs in the third bowl.

Place each tofu stick in the flour mixture first, then dip them in the soya milk, then cover in breadcrumbs. Do this twice for each stick of tofu.

Heat the margarine in a pan and fry the vegan fish fingers until they are golden brown.
