Sambal Petai

Ingredients

3 pcsmedium tomatoes diced

1 pcdried shiitake mushroom

1 cupbrinjal (eggplant)

½ tspchili powder

1 tbsshoyu

1 gbamboo salt

¼ tspchinese five spice powder

1 cuppetai
Instructions

Blend tomatoes with dried mushroom, bring to a boil for 5 minutes, to thicken to half the volume.

Add in the remaining ingredients except the petai, simmer for 20 minutes.

Lastly, add in the petai and continue to cook for another 5 minutes. Serve hot.
