Mie Wok with Bak Choy
Although you can put this wok dish on the table in no time, it is a true taste bomb. Sesame oil gives the tofu strips a real Asian taste, ideal for stir-frying! There are different types of noodles for sale, many without eggs. Check your local supermarket.

Mien Noodles (non-egg)

1 bushpak choi

1red bell pepper

1onion

4 tbspsesame oil

180 gfried tofu seasoned (spicy)

50 mlsweet soy sauce (ketjap manis)

4 tbsp(vegan) peanut chilli crunch (seroendeng)

1/2chilli pepper (whichever you prefer) Optional
Instructions
Prep

Cook the mien noodles according to the packaging until soft. Drain and rinse it and put it aside.

Clean and slice the pak choi into strips. Clean and dice the bell pepper. Peel and cut the onion in half rings. Cut the pepper of your choice (or don’t if you want the meal mild) into small pieces.
Stir-fry Time!

Heat up some oil in the wok pan. Stir-fry the tofu for 2 minutes. Add the bell pepper, pak choi and chilli pepper and continue to stir-fry for another 3 minutes.

Pour the sweet soy sauce and let it heat up with the veggies for 1 minute. Toss in the mien noodles and stir it while letting the flavour soak in for another minute.

Done! Split it across 4 bowls and garnish with the peanut chilli crunch.
Notes
Tip:Â If you can’t find the specific kind of tofu strips in the ingredients list then just look for any kind of fried tofu strips and season it yourself.
