A #WorldPlantMilkDay success with Almond Breeze
World Plant Milk Day 2018 was celebrated all over Europe, the USA and now, South Africa! This initiative of ProVeg International and Plant Based News was introduced last year as an international day of action, to showcase how tasty, healthy and easily available plant-based milks are.
Plant milks are becoming incredibly popular the world over, as people are becoming more aware of the negative environmental impact of cow’s milk. Did you know that it takes about 1,000 litres of water to produce one litre of cow’s milk, and that 1 kg of cheese requires about 3,000 litres of water and emits 13.5 kg of CO2? Now you do!
