Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Poland
Jennes de Mol, born on 12 August 1963 in Eindhoven, is a career diplomat of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Since 2024, he serves as Ambassador to Poland and Belarus.
Jennes de Mol served as Deputy Ambassador to the Czech Republic from 2008 to 2011, Consul General in Saint Petersburg from 2011 to 2014, and Head of the Dutch Mission in the United Arab Emirates from 2014 to 2015. From 2019 to 2024, he was Ambassador to Ukraine.
Jennes de Mol held senior positions at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in The Hague, including Head of the Career Development Department (2005–2008) and Director for Human Resources Management (2015–2019). He also served as the Netherlands’ civilian representative in Uruzgan, working with Brigadier General Kees van den Heuvel to lead Task Force Uruzgan (ISAF 2010) and Provincial Reconstruction Teams.
Jennes de Mol studied at Radboud University in Nijmegen, where he obtained Master’s degrees in International Law and in Greek and Latin Languages and Culture. He speaks several languages, including Polish.
