Planet-friendly cheese burger (ve)
Our cheese burger recipe is a melt-in-your-mouth, plant-based delight. Crafted with a hearty bean and lentil patty (see recipe here) and served with classic, fresh toppings, it's the perfect fusion of wholesome nutrition and bursting flavours. Portion sizes relate to a child of primary school age, please amend to suit your needs.

50 gplant-based cheese alternative

10burger buns halved

180 gtomato sliced

1little gem lettuce
-
50 gtomato ketchup

50 gplant-based mayo
Instructions

To make burgers, shape balls mix into 10 x 70g patties.

Cook the patties on a non-stick baking sheet in a 240°C oven for 10-15 mins.

Two minutes before the end of cooking time, top each patty with the cheese and put back in the oven for the remaining 2 minutes.

To assemble the burgers, spread the ketchup over each bun base, add a cheese-topped burger, then the tomato, and lettuce. Top with the other bun half with the mayonnaise.
