Do you know the secret to a healthier planet? It’s on your plate! At ProVeg UK, we’re passionate about the power of plants and how our food choices can make a world of difference.
Fruits, vegetables, grains, and beans are not just superfoods for our bodies, but superheroes for our planet too. They’re the environmentally-friendly alternatives to meat, eggs, and dairy, causing significantly less damage to our own health and the planet’s.
This year, we’re inviting creative young minds to join us in a celebration of plant-based living. We’re launching the Young Artists and Poets Challenge 2023, a unique competition that combines art, poetry, and a love for plant-based living.
The Challenge
We’re looking for children aged 8-14 to create a piece of art or write a poem that highlights the importance of eating more plants. Your piece should revolve around one or any combination of these five themes:
- Taste
- Health
- Justice
- Animals
- Environment
