Creamy mushroom spaghetti

Ingredients

Servings: 2
  • 300 g
    spaghetti
  • 500 g
    mushrooms
  • 25 g
    plant-based margarine
  • 2
    shallots diced
  • 1
    garlic glove diced
  • 250 g
    soy cream
  • salt as desired
  • pepper as desired

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to instructions.
  2. Melt the margarine in a pan and sauté the garlic and shallots. Slice the mushrooms and add to pan until roasted gently. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Reduce the heat and add soy cream. Let cook until the sauce turns creamy. For a stronger taste, add some more pepper.
  4. Add the sauce to the pasta and stir together. May be served with a side salad or a meat alternative.

Notes

Notice: To get a more delicate flavor, you may use dried mushrooms. Those can be stored for weeks. Some white wine can also refine the sauce.
