Pilaf with plant-based fillet

Ingredients

  • 2
    plant-based filets e.g. Vivera Garlic Kiev
  • 1
    onion
  • 1 tbsp
    oil
  • 20 g
    raisins
  • 150 g
    rice
  • 1
    vegetable stock cube
  • 20 g
    almond flakes
  • 2
    garlic cloves
  • 400 g
    cauliflower florets
  • 1
    red bell pepper
  • 1 tsp
    garam masala
  • 1
    tin of chickpeas

Instructions

  1. Put the raisins and rice in a pan, along with the water and the stock cube. Prepare the rice according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. Boil the cauliflower florets for 10 minutes.
  3. Chop the onion and pepper and crush the garlic.
  4. Heat some oil in a saucepan. Fry the chopped onion, red pepper, and garlic for 5 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, rinse the chickpeas and add them to the onion and garlic.
  6. Drain the cauliflower and add to the chickpeas.
  7. Add the garam masala, and season with salt and pepper if desired.
  8. Meanwhile, fry the filets for 8 minutes.
  9. Serve the rice with the cauliflower and filets, and garnish with the almond flakes. Add some fresh herbs for extra flavor!
