Pasta with walnut pesto
This recipe for vegan walnut pesto is perfectly suited for the quick kitchen. Walnuts are a great source for omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin E. A delicious pesto with a nutty note which perfectly fits both with pasta or as a yummy spread on bread.

250 gtagliatelle or other pasta

60 gwalnuts chopped

2garlic gloves

lemon juice to taste

6 tbspolive oil

50 gherbs
-
ground nutmeg to taste

salt to taste
Instructions

Cook the pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente, let drain and stir in a little oil.

Puree two thirds of the walnuts, lemon juice, garlic, oil and herbs in the mixer. Season to taste with nutmeg and salt.

Serve the pasta with the sauce and the remaining walnuts.
