Shawarma spicy rice

Ingredients

  • 150 g
    white rice
  • 1
    onion
  • 1
    garlic clove
  • 2
    red peppers
  • 2 tbsp
    oil
  • 200 g
    plant-based shoarma e.g. Vivera Plant Shoarma
  • 1 tsp
    Italian herbs
  • 2 tbsp
    oil
  • 200 g
    tomato cubes
  • 1 tsp
    Italian herbs

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to the directions on the package.
  2. Chop the onion, crush the garlic, clean the red pepper and cut into cubes.
  3. Heat 2 tbsp oil in a wok and fry the onion for 3 minutes.
  4. Add the shawarma and stir-fry on high heat for 6 minutes.
  5. Add the red pepper and stir fry for 5 minutes.
  6. Drain the rice.
  7. Add the tomato cubes, rice and Italian herbs. Season with salt and pepper if desired, and serve on plates.
