COP30: Action on Food Hub officially opens on Tuesday

The hub is in the Blue Zone of the conference and will be promoting food system change

The official opening of the Action on Food Hub Pavilion takes place at COP30 in Belém, Brazil on Tuesday, November 11th from 9.30am to 11.45am local time.

The Action on Food Hub is a dedicated space in the Blue Zone at COP30, putting food center stage during these crucial negotiations.

It is a partnership between ProVeg International and EIT Food, giving delegates to COP the opportunity to learn about how climate emissions can be reduced, and biodiversity restored, through food system change.

Throughout the summit, ProVeg will be highlighting, among other measures, the Belém Declaration on Plant-Rich Diets, which calls on UN member states to draft Action Plans for Plant-Based Foods to reduce emissions, improve health, food security, biodiversity and support sustainable economies.
