Meet the Incubator startups: Brew Bites

Brew Bites transforms spent brewer’s grains and pumpkin-seed flour into protein chunks with outstanding texture, versatility, and free from additives or unnecessary ingredients. Their first product, savory chunks made from 50% upcycled ingredients and only four components, is tailored for food-service and B2B clients seeking sustainable, scalable solutions.

Brew Bites: We start with spent brewer’s grains. They’re rich in fiber, full of structure, and naturally made for bite. Combined with pumpkin-seed flour and pea protein, they form a powerful trio that brings texture, depth, and functionality. Nothing else is needed – no binders, no gums, and no starches. Just three natural ingredients doing the job.

The texture surprises people. It’s juicy, satisfying, and holds perfectly in sauces. Whether it’s curry, stew, or Bolognese, the chunks absorb flavor and stay firm like real meat.

That’s the beauty of simple ingredients. When you stop overprocessing and trust the raw materials, the result is honest food with real impact. And it’s so clean you could print the recipe right on the pack.

It’s not meat, but behaves like meat. And that’s exactly the point.

BB: Big kitchens need more than plant-based labels, they need performance. Our chunks make a better Bolognese, a goulash that sticks, tikka that holds, and a wrap that crunches. They’re ready from frozen, so no soaking is required, and there is no weird texture. Just clean protein with a story and, obviously, the right pricing.

They comprise 29% protein, have no sugar, and are high in fiber. They also freeze well, and guests love the taste, and chefs trust the process.
