ProVeg Incubator Opens Applications for Second Cohort of ‘Fast-track to Impact’ Program to Support Next Wave of Alt-Protein Pioneers

Building on the success of its newly evolved model, the ProVeg Incubator is now accepting applications for Cohort 2 of its Fast-track To Impact program, designed to scale the next generation of alt-protein leaders.

The ProVeg Incubator is the world’s first and leading accelerator dedicated to alt-protein venture acceleration. Their three-month, equity-free initiative is designed to equip early-stage alternative protein startups with the strategic agility, financial fundamentals, and industry connections required to navigate today’s complex investment and retail landscapes. After a high-impact first cohort, the ProVeg Incubator is looking for the next group of mission-driven founders ready to scale their solutions across plant-based, fermentation-derived, and cultivated-food technologies.

“The success of our first Fast-track To Impact cohort proved that founders today are looking for high-efficiency support that yields tangible results,” said Devika Suresh, Head of the ProVeg Incubator. “As we open applications for Cohort 2, our focus remains on helping startups navigate the complexities of this dynamic sector and emerge better positioned for long-term success.

The Fast-track To Impact program is delivered fully online, ensuring global accessibility for startups working on meat, dairy, seafood, and egg alternatives, as well as enabling technologies. Selected startups benefit from:

  • 1:1 Mentoring: Tailored guidance from a network of over 300 industry experts.
  • Core Business Resilience: Intensive programming focused on financial modeling, go-to-market strategies, and investor readiness.
  • Select startups from the cohort will have the opportunity to pitch at The New Food Paradigm in Paris, connecting them directly with retailers, investors, and policymakers.

The ProVeg Incubator has supported over 130 startups from more than 30 countries. By doubling the number of companies supported annually through the Fast-track To Impact model, the ProVeg Incubator is significantly increasing the volume of market-ready solutions entering the global food system.

Applications are open to early-stage startups that have at least a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and a clear mission to reduce the global consumption of animals.

Interested founders can find more information and submit their applications via the ProVeg Incubator website:https://go.proveg.org/incubator

The application deadline is 22 June 2026
