Showcasing the future of plant-based innovation at the Incubator Demo Day
The ProVeg Incubator continues to strengthen its role as a leading accelerator for plant-based food innovation, having supported 10 startups from seven countries in 2025, and 116 since launching in 2018. This year’s cohort showcased their cutting-edge innovations at the Demo Day in Berlin in September – a hybrid event hosted at the headquarters of Formo Foods, an Incubator alumnus. The event featured pitches from a diverse range of startups, including Updairy, Profillet, Planeat, Mindful FÜD, Freundeskreis, Meatless Kingdom, KaYama Foods, MycoVibes Biotech, Finally Foods, and Brew Bites. The innovations presented in the pitch sessions ranged from precision-fermented whey to plant-based seafood, mycoproteins, molecular farming, and more.
The Incubator’s global community continues to flourish, with alumni achieving impressive milestones across various markets. Recent highlights include Better Nature raising $1.4M to fuel their international expansion, the Atlantic Fish Co closing a $1.2M seed round, and the Friends & Family Pet Food Company becoming the first company in Asia to gain regulatory approval for cultivated pet food, which was granted in Singapore. In addition, Gimme Sabor launched in South Korea, and Sunday Supper expanded its reach through distributors KeHE and UNFI – their products are now stocked in more than 600 US retail outlets.
These achievements were made possible thanks to your generous support. We look forward to seeing many more of these innovations reaching supermarket shelves in the years ahead.
