Cheesy white bean spread
This cheesy white bean paste is quick and easy to prepare. It has a rich and creamy texture, a spicy Mediterranean flavor, and can be served as a dip or a spread on bread or crackers.

Ingredients

400 gwhite beans cooked

3 tbspnutritional yeast

½ tspsalt

⅛ tspturmeric powder

2 tspdried oregano

1 tspdried basil

2 tbspolive oil

1 clovegarlic or ¼ tsp garlic powder

½lemon juiced

20green olives pitted

10pickled green pepperonis seeds removed

To tastepaprika powder
Instructions

Put the beans in a food processor and blend until they have the consistency of a spread.
Continue blending and add the nutritional yeast, salt, spices, along with the rest of the ingredients, one after the other.

If needed, add some of the pepperoni brine to help blend the mixture into a smooth, creamy spread. Adjust salt to taste.

Serve with veggie sticks, crackers, breadsticks, or spread on bread for a delicious snack.
Notes
For a milder spread, simply reduce or substitute the pepperonis with more olives.
