Avocado and chocolate. It might sound like a strange combination, but this avocado-chocolate mousse is really delicious! The avocado gives it a creamy taste, and the sugars come from the bananas. This recipe is therefore ideal for using up brown bananas, because the browner the banana, the sweeter it is! If you like, you can make the mousse even sweeter by adding a little agave syrup. The chocolate mousse is very quick and easy to make; all you have to do is chop the ingredients and blend them in a food processor, pop it in the fridge for a bit, and it is done.

  • Preparation Time: 5 minutes
  • Cooking Time: 10 minutes
  • Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

Servings: 2
  • 1
    avocado
  • 1
    banana the riper, the sweeter
  • 100 g
    red berries
  • 2 tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • agave syrup to taste

Instructions

  1. Add the avocado and the banana to the blender and puree into a smooth mixture.

  2. Then add the cocoa powder and stir well with a spoon before you turn the blender on again. This prevents the cocoa powder from flying all over the place.

  3. Taste the mixture and add some more agave syrup to taste if desired.

  4. Put the chocolate mousse in the fridge for a few hours to set. No problem if you do not have time for this, the mousse is also delicious straight after preparation!

  5. Serve the chocolate mousse with pieces of red fruit.
