BBQ-style nuggets

Ingredients

  • 200 g
    plant-based nuggets e.g. Vivera Plant Nuggets
  • 300 g
    twister fries available in supermarkets
  • 1
    head of baby Romaine lettuce
  • 2
    small vine tomatoes
  • ½
    cucumber
  • 2 tbsp
    salad dressing plant-based
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Prepare the twister fries according to the packet instructions.
  2. Remove the lettuce leaves and carefully wash them. Cut into thin strips. Cut the vine tomatoes into wedges and the cucumber into half slices.
  3. Mix the cucumber, lettuce, and tomatoes with the dressing.
  4. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan and fry the nuggets for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Serve the nuggets with the BBQ sauce, the twister fries, and the salad.

Notes

Tip: These nuggets are also delicious with fresh coleslaw.
