Flammkuchen with green asparagus

This asparagus flammkuchen is the ultimate spring dish! Super quick to make and perfect for a sunny day.

Ingredients

  • 1
    storebought flammkuchen dough
  • 125 g
    (plant-based) creme fraiche
  • 8
    sun-dried tomatoes cut into strips
  • 100 g
    green asparagus frozen or fresh
  • 1
    red onion
  • handful of rocket
  • pepper and salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven according to the directions on the flammkuchen dough

  2. Spread the flammkuchen dough with the creme fraiche

  3. Cut the red onion and sun-dried tomato into pieces and distribute over the flammkuchen.

  4. Remove the hard parts at the bottom of the stem of the asparagus. Cut the asparagus in half lengthwise and place these over the whole. Distribute a little oil from the jar of sun-dried tomato over the flammkuchen if desired.

  5. Bake the flammkuchen in the middle of the oven until done, following the instructions on the packaging

  6. Season with pepper and salt and garnish with rocket
