Oats with persimmon and hazelnuts

This porridge with persimmon and hazelnuts is delicious, but also very nutritious! The fresh persimmons and mixed spice give this breakfast an autumnal touch.

Ingredients

Servings: 2
  • 500 ml
    soymilk or other (plant-based) milk
  • 100 g
    oats
  • 1
    persimmon in small cubes
  • 2 tbsp
    hazelnuts roughly chopped
  • 1 tsp
    mixed spice

Instructions

  1. Heat the soy milk in a small pan and add the oats and spices. Simmer for a few minutes and stir regularly until it has thickened.

  2. Distribute the oats into two bowls and sprinkle the pieces of persimmon, peanut butter and hazelnuts on top.

Notes

Tip: also very tasty with a teaspoon of nut butter (e.g. hazelnut or almond) alongside!
