Blueberry almond porridge

What's better than fresh blueberries in the summer? You can eat them on their own, incorporate them into pancakes or crumbles, or add them to your porridge. A vitamin boost in the morning! This mix of blueberries and almonds gives your body what it needs.

Ingredients

  • 250 ml
    almond milk or soy milk for protein-rich version
  • 50 g
    oats
  • 50 g
    blueberries
  • 30 g
    almonds a handful
  • 1/4 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    agave syrop to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring almond milk to a boil and add oats.

  2. Let it cook for a few minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Optionally, roast the almonds in a dry frying pan while the porridge cooks.

  4. Add blueberries, vanilla, and cinnamon to the porridge and sweeten with agave to taste. Sprinkle the roasted almonds on top.

Notes

Tip: In winter, you can also use frozen blueberries. Let them simmer a bit longer to ensure they are fully thawed.
